Are children welcome?
Yes! Children are very welcome, and encouraged. We do our best to keep the tour exciting for everyone.
WHere are you located? How far are you from Edmonton and Calgary?
Our farm is 5 minutes SW of Ferintosh. We are approximately 1.5 hours from Edmonton and 2.5 hours from Calgary. Easy to follow directions will be provided.
How long is the tour? How Far will we be walking?
Our public tours are 2 hours. Private tours are 5 hours. We will be walking for approximately 1 km. For private tours this varies greatly. ATV or vehicle transport are only available with private tours.
Will there be food, water and bathrooms available?
There will be bratwurst on a bun, lemonade, and snacks available. We will have fresh water from our well available. There will be a composting toilet and hand washing station.
Do we need to bring anything?
Wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes/boots. Bring a water bottle, snacks, camera, and anything else you might need for a 2 hour walk.
Who is this tour for? Should I book a private tour instead?
This tour provides a brief overview of the workings of our farm. It is for ethical eaters, gardeners, farmers, permaculturists, DIY'er's, and naturalists. We do our best to answer questions, however if you are interested in a more detailed experience we offer private tours up to 5 hours in length.

How many people will be there?
We limit the sizes of the free tours to 100 people. Our private tours can be as small as you like.
I can't make it to this tour, when is your next tour?!!?
We usually have one public tour per year. Please sign up to our newsletter to be updated for the next tour. If you would like to visit sooner, we do offer private tours for individuals, families, groups, and organizations.
